Made It

I have to start by saying thank you all for the supportive comments in regards to the survey situation, it is so nice to know we are not alone. Chad is trying to get them to change the way they administer the survey and at what age, I will keep you posted on his progress.

The transition to the new blog is in progress and should be complete in a few days, so stay tuned for the big move and a giveaway.

I made some fun things, some of which I have to wait to show you until my swap partners receive them. I will show you one item I made of my self and another that is now in the Shoppe.

This is the item I am keeping, I love the way it turned out. I show Chad every item I make and I say” look I made this, isn’t it cute-pretty-neeto”  He mostly always has the same response “YEP”  Once in a blue moon he actually likes something a lot and is impressed and says so.  It is very far and few between.  This happens to be one of thoes projects. He thinks I should sell it, I told him I love it and made it to keep, plus I would have to sell it for 80$  because it took so long to make.  Once again I saw this on Sarahs blog and had to make it, she has a tutorial for it too.  Beware it takes a million buttons and pins and pearls, it is a 9″ cone, can you imagine if you made a larger one. YIKES.

I made a bunch of these darling little girls.  She will look sooo cute on a Christmas tree.

Here is another one, you can find them in the Shoppe HERE.

  1. Jenn,
The tree is WONDERFUL! I made button balls to see what it would be like, and I also got the info from Sarah! Isn’t it amazing how heavy it gets! I want to make a tree one of these days….but I need to buy more buttons from EBAY and pins! Hundreds of them!
The tag is ADORABLE! Gives me some ideas to use for sisters presents!

  2. Found your blog from the interview you did with Swap Dex. Oh My GOSH! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this button tree! It is absolutely GORGEOUS! I have boxes and jars and drawers FILLED with buttons - now some of them will have a new home and be displayed as they should be. I have a new box of buttons coming from an ebay purchase, so it will make this project even more fun looking through my new stash. (I know - crazy button lady).
